Explanation
You have stumbled upon a grand secret. Be careful who you share this with. Time is ticking and a tale is set to unfold, with you at the center. Perhaps you were chosen by Fate or Destiny. Perhaps you were predisposed to Curiosity. Perhaps it was all due to Chance. No matter the cause, you have chosen or have been chosen to discover these passages, these secrets, these Unknowns.
This site is unlike other sites. You could probably tell that already, couldn’t you? It has secrets and will pull you deeper into the tale. There are a few things you need to know to understand this site. There are secrets hidden in plain sight, puzzles hidden behind simplicities, and truths hidden behind lies. You will have to find the answers on each page, make hard decisions, and come to your story’s unique conclusion. Like a Choose Your Own Adventure book, you will navigate these pages through choices. However, this site interacts with the real world.
This site will take you, the main character, deep into the secrets of another world. To do so, it has a series of writings that you may be asked to read. If you do, these texts will help you make well-informed decisions. If you don’t, that is up to you. There are texts you will not be asked to read, but you are allowed to (and maybe even encouraged to.) There will be secrets hidden in sketches, in code, and in plain sight. How you discover these, or if you discover them, is entirely up to you.
With that stated, let me preface each of these stories with a bit of a warning: the contents of this book holds some violence, references to cult-like behavior, and allusions to magic and alchemy. If any of these things dissuade you from participating in this story, that is okay. If they don’t, let’s press ahead.
