Aniforma are a reality. They do not work in this reality. Aniforma function strictly in alterterrae. How do we get there? We get there via portals, though creating portals is difficult. Despite this, it is possible.
The reason for creating portals is to achieve life, either via stophology or polemology. This is via live puppets, aniforma. They are not whole but they are alive. Aniforma are not crafted from clay, but from paper. They are held in paper, but they live in other areas. They come to Alium.
The world we know is Terra, but it's not alone. There is much more.
All aniforma are nothing on earth. It's everything in Alium. This magic is beyond the earth. This alchemy is so powerful, it can only be achieved elsewhere.
There are ideas that it can be used to create a deadly aniforma, an elemental. The elemental can be devastating if you lose the soothing card. This idea is true. The card itself is the keeper of peace, the promise of safety for aniforma.
If an aniforma loses the card, it loses peace. If, in the circumstance, the card is destroyed, do not be afraid. The strong aniform can be absorbed through a weaker aniform and the two will become one. Peace will be restored by replacing the card. I've done this before.
You heard my story I'm sure. I will not explore this here, but I will recount some events:
I created a strong aniform. It was helpful and obedient. I accidentally destroyed the card. I corrupted the aniform's safety and it became violent. The aniform ached to exist in Alium. The aniform was angry and dstroyed much of Alium.
How did I fix this? I used another aniform. I had an additional card and I absorbed the strong aniform in the weak aniform. I created a second, new aniform. This aniform was less powerful than the strong but stronger than the weak.
This is truly what happened.
