Terra and Alter Terrae

Luke Melior

For centuries humanity has gazed at the heavens and wondered what is there beyond us, but there is nothing there. The sky has gazed down upon us, taunting us, but the truth is, it holds nothing for us. In truth, the sky is part of this world and, as such, we know everything there is to know of it. There are, however, worlds beyond our world we cannot reach by venturing into the sky.

I have worked for years studying the natures of the four elements of matter that build everything we know and have found that they are not the sole building blocks of everything we know. As any student will know, a living being is built of the four elements (as they make up everything) but is also built of the three primes. This combination is part of what gives them life, but only a small part as, when examining nonorganic objects, I found these primes are also contained within everything that exists on the earth as we know it.

From this discovery, I was able to find out more. When analyzing the Vulgate, I was able to deduce that there is a fourth prime that humans do not know of as it does not exist in our realm of reality. The vulgate discusses “si tamen vestiti” meaning we are given new clothes, or a new body. This new body is more complete than our current body, using a prime we do not know of on our earth. This means that a realm (the Heavens) must exist where there are four primes in contrast to our three.

If a realm exists with four primes instead of our three, there must exist realms with alterations on the combination of those four primes into three. This means that, not only is there Terra, but there are Alter Terrae as well. From this, I decided to create a written hierarchy of these realms.

First is the Heavens, comprised of (as far as my research has led me) only Coelum.

I have not yet uploaded the image from the text here yet

Next are the realms of Terra and Alter Terrae. There is Terra, our reality, Anterra, Ancorporis, and Nonanim.

There are, however, other realms below Terra and Alter Terrae, hypothetically falling to the base elements. These fall into six categories I will briefly describe. I have named each of these 25 additional realms but I have decided not to list them in order to keep some of this as secret.

Below are the names and a description of each of the eight types of realms.

Heavens: A reality more perfect than our own comprised of all four primes and all four elements.

Terra and Alter Terrae: Four realities utilizing three of the four primes and all four elements.

Deest: Six realities that have two of the four primes and all four elements. Some may not be inhabitable by a human body.

Essentiis: Four realities that have one of the four primes and all four elements. It is highly unlikely a human could exist within these realms.

Elemntum: The realm of Nativus, it is the only realm lacking all four primes and containing all four elements. Any living being here would experience extreme anguish and pain.

Imperfectus: Four realities that lack one of the four elements and have none of the four primes.

Geminus: Six realities comprised solely of two elements.

Attributo: The four realities Ignis, Caeli, Aqua, and Solum. They are comprised solely of their respective element.

From this discovery, I worked to establish a way to travel to these other realms by way of portals. Of course, this yielded little result as, though I knew the basic principles of these worlds, I did not know how to manipulate these principals like I can with the principles of our own reality.

I was, however, able to discover that humans can travel to some of these other realities with little to no harm. Since these realities are so like our own, humankind can visit them and survive for, hypothetically, up to five years.

These include Anterra, Ancorporis, and Nonanim. However, the laws of these realities are so unlike our own that reaching them has proven impossible thus far.

The Deest have proven the most easily-accessible and I have even created a small window into some of those worlds, save the ones comprised of the fourth prime. Alium, Aetherius, and Caeterus have been the most accessible with Alium allowing me to create a window so large and so open I could hear the sounds of the wind blowing.

These realities could, perhaps, allow a human to live there for up to five months with little to no negative consequences. The realms below the Deest are likely nearly uninhabitable, if not absolutely uninhabitable as they lack too many of the basic substances that make up Terran life.

Likewise, Coelum would likely be impossible to live within because it has too much for our human bodies to withstand. An additional substance would likely destroy our human understanding and render one insane even if they were able to survive and return to Terra.

This has been all of the information I have been able to find regarding our reality and these alternate realities. Regarding the portals and the windows, I will not share that information as it is something I must keep on my search to discover more. I have written a poem, though, that highlights my achievements.

Window Gazing

If it were not for the one silver run

A bright light unclouded and in the sun

The window foggy and broken would be

Guarded by devils shrieking loud at me.

Heated over an open flame to move

One might find that, with his heart’s truest love,

There is no hope in belov’d Terra’s name

Of finding one’s own true fortune and fame.

The Stone, therein, must be found some elsewhere.

Alas, it is gone and with it, a care.

Do not wait ‘till morning and not past noon

Or else you shall be too late or too soon.

Mixing the element and prime in pot,

A strange shiny material was brought,

That when heated under the Soul’s pure light

Is shown to shone both in day and in night.

Return?
